Tim Besl, CEO
Fenton employee since 1982

Tim’s career with Fenton began with his work on the Contracting & Rigging gangs. After completing his Business Administration & Management degree from Xavier University, he was promoted to an office position as Dispatcher. Soon after, Tim served first as a Project Manager but then was appointed Fenton’s first full-time Safety Director. Upon attaining his master’s degree in Business from Xavier University, he became the Controller for Fenton and then Vice President of Finance, where he served for eight years until being named CEO in 2013.

Bill Besl, COO
Fenton employee since 1976

Bill also began his Fenton career working in the Contracting & Rigging gangs, but was soon promoted to an office position where he served as a Project Manager. Bill was promoted next to Vice President of the Rigging Division, where he has been responsible for managing all of Fenton’s rigging and shop operations for the past 20 years. Bill is a graduate of Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Chris Hartle, CFO
Fenton employee since 2015

Chris joined the Fenton Team in February 2015. He has served the construction industry in an accounting and finance capacity for over 18 years, in both corporate and public accounting. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Miami University. Chris has also obtained a certified public accountant license and is currently licensed in the State of Ohio.

Scott Purdy, Safety Director
Fenton employee since 1999

Scott has more than 25 years’ experience in the critical field of construction safety. Before joining the Fenton team, Scott worked for several major general contractors throughout the United States and has been trained as an OSHA 500 trainer. He is a current member of the Allied Construction Industries Safety Council and has also served as its Chairman.

Chris Besl, Project Manager, Rigging
Fenton employee since 2004

Before coming to work for Fenton in 2004, Chris became a member of the Millwrights Union in 1999. At Fenton, he was a Millwright Journeyman and Foreman until he was promoted to an office position. Since 2010, Chris has been a lead Project Manager for our Rigging Division, estimating and supervising a variety of challenging projects.

Doug Hollstegge, Project Manager, Rigging
Fenton employee since 1976

Doug began his career at Fenton working in the Rigging gangs. He was promoted to an office position in 1984 and served as Dispatcher for five years. Doug has been bidding and managing numerous rigging projects since 1989, and currently specializes in rigging and cryogenic tank refurbishment and setting.

Garry Miller, Project Manager, Rigging
Fenton employee since 2005

A Project Manager for Fenton’s Rigging Division for nearly a decade, Garry has also been a member of the Ironworkers Union since 1979. Since 1985, he has utilized his unique expertise in bidding for and then managing many structural and specialized steel-related projects throughout the United States.

David Williams, CCM Manager
Fenton employee since 2014

Dave started in the rigging industry as an Iron Worker Apprentice in 1993 after answering an ad in the paper. He served a four year apprenticeship with Local 44 and received his OHSA Safety Training through the Union. While working his way up from Journeyman to Foreman, Dave also received his Construction Management Certification (CCM) from the International Institute of Learning. In 2008, Dave was promoted to Superintendent and took on a managerial role for Hensley Industries. Dave continues to serve Fenton as the CCM Manager.

Dave Metzcar, Project Manager
Fenton employee since 2014

Dave has spent over 44 years in the rigging business. He got his start with Metzcar Rigging while attending night school and continued to take classes to hone his skills. After the family business was sold, Dave went to work for Hensley Industries as a Project Manager. We were very pleased to have Dave come onboard with Fenton as part of the Hensley acquisition. Dave serves as Project Manager in our Rigging division.

Jack Stowers, Project Manager
Fenton employee since 2014

Jack has been in the Rigging business since 2003. He started with Local 44 (Iron Workers Union) after attending Northern Kentucky University. He worked in the field learning the craft until 2011. At that time, Jack was brought in as a Project Manager. We are excited to have Jack as part of the Fenton team and look forward to him working in the Rigging division.

Bryan Erickson, Project Manager, Contracting

One of our most recent and valuable management assets, Bryan came to Fenton in 2012 following his extensive work and experience with a national concrete company.

Michael Schatzel, Superintendent
Fenton employee since 2015

Michael joined the Fenton team as Superintendent in 2015 after 16 years’ experience supervising carpenters and laborers, managing the permitting process, and providing safety leadership. A former Lieutenant with the City of Mason Fire Department, Michael’s fire safety expertise is a valuable contribution to Fenton’s focus on accident prevention. He holds certifications in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations in addition to fire safety.

Mark Hoffman, Purchasing Manager/Shop Manager/Dispatcher
Fenton employee since 2014

Mark has an extensive background in the automotive and transportation industry. He is certified in both light and heavy duty towing as well as light and heavy duty rollback transport. In addition, Mark brings both Fleet and Maintenance management experience to Fenton.

Dottie Reinhold, Controller
Fenton employee since 1984

As a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Dottie has worked in all areas of Fenton’s accounting functions. In 2002, she served as the assistant to the Controller before being promoted to Company Controller in 2011.

Michael Tomaro, Business Development
Fenton employee since 2014

For over 15 years, Mike served both Fortune 100 companies and privately held businesses bringing his sales and management experience. Mike’s responsibilities include generating new business while maintaining our current client relationships.
